Was it a trick or a treat?

We are hanging around the Selma, NC area for a week as I wanted to hit the outlets for a little holiday shopping.   I'm such a planner and typically have my shopping done by the day after Thanksgiving but I'm a bit behind this year.  My daughter's graduation, son and DIL's wedding, and getting ready to hit the road took a lot of time this summer! Oh yeah - I was working then too!  ;-)

Monday, Dan and I were at the kitchen table eating lunch.  He commented that he had just seen two big Class A RVs coming down the road to enter the park.  When he looked up again he saw another RV coming and said "holy *hit here comes Gin and Syl"!   :-)  I looked out the window and sure enough, they were pulling into the campground.  We quickly finished our lunch and got on our bicycles to sneak up on them as they checked in at the camp office.  I think that they were quite surprised to see us too!  As luck would have it, they were given the site right next to us!

I liked this duck flapping his wings!

These guys are quite friendly and walk right up to you!!
After they settled in, they came over and we spent the afternoon catching up!   They were kind enough not to laugh at our indoor laundromat as we had clothes hanging in the RV from the laundry I did that morning.  We spent some more time this morning talking and made plans to join them for lunch later this week.

It was such a treat seeing Gin and Syl again!

Holy sh*t! That's too funny! What a small world, huh? Have a great time catching up. Maybe you'll bring them good luck and their house will sell while there :)
Good luck with the shopping thing too :)
